When I first thought about medicine, I imagined a world of white coats, research breakthroughs, and helping people. But as I began to learn more, I realized how easily the human side of care can get lost in the noise of exams, competition, and achievement.
I have seen how young people who dream of becoming doctors are told to perfect their résumés before they are ever asked to reflect on what it means to truly care. I wanted to change that, even just a little.
That is why I created Ethos Medicina. I hoped to build a space where students could pause and think, not about scores or rankings, but about empathy, responsibility, and conscience. A place to ask questions that do not always have simple answers.
Every essay and reflection shared here represents that spirit. It is a reminder that medicine is not only a science but also a story about people.
As a student, I am still learning what it means to be part of this journey. But I believe that if we learn to think with heart, we can build a kinder and more ethical future in healthcare together.
